Treasury Banking/Trading Systems Specialist

Our client, a European online trading platform covering stocks, crypto and metals, is expanding rapidly and hence, they are seeking new, experienced and hands-on team members who think outside of the box (and are not afraid to share their thoughts), will deliver unique ideas and like to work in a fast-paced environment.

They are building up the Treasury/ALM team. They are searching for an experienced individual with experience in databases, treasury and trading systems with an understanding of financial processes. Creativity is welcomed (someone who is not afraid to share their ideas), bring unique ideas and enjoy a dynamic/fast paced environment!

Our client’s mission:

They are on the way to expanding across Europe and this requires a strengthening of its treasury operations. Therefore, they are looking for a new team member with experience in quantitative functions and reporting.

What you’ll do:

  • Managing and improving the Treasury infrastructure.

  • Roll out of implementation of our TMS and trading systems.

  • Project management of TMS implementation & coordination internally and externally.

  • Designing a future technology roadmap to help our treasury to become state-of-the-art.

  • Maintaining and securing Static Data used in the finance area.

  • Providing data analysis and automating Treasury reporting.

  • Statistical modelling in R and Python.

  • Establish and manage a set of performance measurement metrics for Treasury activities.

  • Managing bank accounts, opening/closing accounts, & interacting with Bank representatives.

  • Oversee bank account documentation, update of mandates and bank signatories, perform e-banking user rights and KYC reviews.

  • Resolving technical or payment file queries with various banking partners.

  • Advisory to flow of funds in payment infrastructure.

  • Working collaboratively with other teams. Acting as an escalation point for unresolved issues and providing specialist support and information.

What we’re looking for:

  • MSc degree in Finance, Business informatics or Business management

  • At least 3 years’ experience in finance

  • Strong analytical accuracy, information analysis,

problem-solving and interpersonal skills, a good sense of humour

  • Project management skills

  • Strong capable knowledge in R, Python and SQL

  • Hands-on mentality and no fear of speaking up in a fast-paced working environment

  • Worked with TMS and or ERP systems. Bloomberg/ION/FIS

  • Knowledge of different payment file formats and document standards.

  • Understanding of payment networks Swift/SEPA

  • English proficiency, German is beneficial
